My grandsons loved the pool. Continental breakfast was very good, receptionist was so friendly and helpful. Beautiful historic building in lovely grounds

Great pool and staff were excellent. The food was perfect and reasonable prices. Perfect location with lovely grounds.  Unfortunately our shower had no hot water though.

The staff were every helpful and cheerful. The hotel was just great for a short get away with a young family

It’s next to the hospital so convenient for those travelling on work related to the hospital. The hotel  has very good parking facilities. Unfortunately the kitchen seems to close early so late arrivals have to get something from the local Spar or take away deliveries

Visiting friends to go to a party elsewhere . Fantastic stay. Lovely breakfast and plenty of choice and a nice swim this morning. An a1 stay thank you.

We stayed at the Faenol for a wedding. A beautiful hotel,  the staff were polite and very welcoming, the rooms were well equipped and comfortable, a great stay.

Lovley place with exceptional staff. Only thing is there wasnt enough of them, was left waiting around at reception or at Breakfast time for staff to surface. However i suppose in these current climates and staff shortages it can't always be helped. I wouldn't hesistate to ever stop here again regardless - Great location too.

We visited the hotel for a wedding. The staff were friendly and accommodation was nice in the main building. There is a swimming pool which we were unaware of which looked nice too. Lots of choice with breakfast. The setting was lovely and peaceful the only downside was being woken by peacocks quite early in the morning.

Upon arrival and driving down the long driveway you have a real sense of being in a manor house setting. Arrivng in the  ar park was no disappointment, the building and surroundings were idyllic. Staff were very welcoming and made the check-in process seamless. All throughout the stay the staff were excellent and never too busy to have a chat and tell you about the history of the place. The bedroom was quite basic, everything you need really but could do with a bit of a spruce up with fresh paint and a proper spring clean.The building itself, more so the pub  area...was full of character and considering the age of the property the origonal features were amazing. From big inglenook fireplace to wooden beams and ornate staircase to traditional archways near the bar. The bar area is where you have a wonderfully cooked Welsh breakfast with great local produce all served with a smile. Yiu could also help yourself to continental style breakfast with the usual croissants and pastries to cereal and toast.Steeped in history this place was great to visit amd would definitely go back again. Thank you for having us.

Only down size as it was out of season there was no evening dining facilities, although they did supply local takeaway deliveries which they were happy for you to eat in the lounge and supply you with plates and cutlery. The double bed was a too small .
