New Hochatown Lodge

Very clean little motelNice front desk ladyKinda of dark outside around by my room but it was very cleanI’d stay again

The office was closed when we got there but they made provisions for us to pick up our key without delay. The hotel was no frills and great value for $$. We will stay there again. 😀

Great Stay.  Lots of parking for trailers.  Nice rooms, great town.

A little dated, not fancy, but clean and comfortable.   Very nice staff.

Easy access to all our favorite spots and the staff is very friendly and helpful!

The lady at the front desk was very professional and the rooms were very clean. I look forward to come back and stay longer next time.

All was great, but the pillows are super thick...bring your own if possible. But over all the stay was great.

Location was close to attractions, park, and restaurants. Room was clean and property was quiet. We would stay again in the future.

We were three people and had a large room with a king and a queen bed. The room was very clean; the bed was comfortable. We only stayed one night, so can't say much about service. However, based on the photos on Hotel.com, I felt a bit let down. The lodge was not much more than a motel with room doors that let directly into the parking lot. the lobby was small, and the "huge" fire place that was pictured, was fairly small, and in a location that did not at all invite to lounging in front of (as "lodge" would make you believe). For the price, I wish there had been breakfast included. There was a Keurig in the room, but only one coffee pod (for 3 people). The towels were soft and relatively new, but very small. We couldn't find any Kleenex or other tissues in the room. Complimentary items like shampoo were very sparse. I guess, if need be, we could have asked for more. Still for what was offered. I found the  cost of the room a tad steep.

A place to sleep

We loved our stay at this hotel. We stayed in room #109 and it was very clean, quiet and there was plenty of towels and pillows provided. Beds were good but one made loud popping noises when moving, sitting or getting up from it. The freezer/fridge came in handy and we really enjoyed sitting on the patio in the evening just taking in our surroundings. The lady at check in/out was very friendly and gave us restaurant suggestions. I loved that there wasn’t carpet. My few suggestions: a bigger tv, ours might have been a 32“, the lamp in our room flickered as though it had a short in it (we checked to see if the bulb was loose, it wasn’t) so you probably need a new lamp and the tub/toilet area is tiny but that’s a complete renovation 😁 Thank you for a wonderful visit and we hope to come back again soon!

The lodge is very nice and quaint on the outside however our room was not so nice. The pictures that would have been on the walls were not there just screws. The ceiling was patched in places and not repainted. There was mold and dust above our bed. The room was clean but not to a hotel standard by any means and the beds were not comfortable. We stayed here in 2020 and it was not in this condition.

Not sure about a return visit

The room was very clean and smelled great!!! The beds were comfy! All the plugs seemed to work. The ice machine wasn't working outside by the pool so we ended up having to drive in to town for ice because we weren't able to get into the lobby area. It was late at night but i had no idea it would be a problem.There is no breakfast just so you are aware. I would stay again!!!

The staff was very friendly and helpful.  When we got to the room it was nice and cool, a/c had been turned down so that we would comfortable.  The room was extremely clean and even smelled good.  I was very happy that there was no carpet, I'm kind of a snob about that.  We would definitely stay here again and would, and have, recommend it.

Our purpose was to have a room to stay in quickly , we got in the area late and got up early for one day stay in the area. Luckily it was not too hot the AC made a squealing noise , and we actually had to unplug it completely for it to go off and stop making the noise. It was clean overall but the ac was a definite issue and I’d rather Been able to have  slept at least With a fan. When we done it was getting stuffy.

Upon arrival front reception was friendly.  
Our room stay was 111.  I will be honest.  Was a little worried about parking area.  Didn’t seem to be much space left in behind for vehicles coming around. 
Only real complaint.  Room attendant did not knock before coming in our room the next day.
So suggestion to management.  Please inform your staff before entering rented rooms to please knock and announce themselves before entering. 
This one did not.  I was on bed closest to door and she entered with no announcement.  
I will stay again when I’m area.  
As you see.   I still gave 4 stars.  Not upset at all about my visit.  
Clean and affordable.  I like that.

Quaint Clean Rooms

Stayed here a few times, it is a sufficient place to stay if you just need a place to sleep. Disappointing to hear your neighbor get the same room for $79 a night. Aside from that, we had a good stay, nothing fancy, and they have done away with breakfast, could use a security lock in the doors, and the people were friendly.  Courtney welcomed us like we were family, so thank you Courtney for the warm welcome. 

Suitable place to stay

We reserved a room for one night on January 10. When we arrived the lady at the desk was very friendly and informative. We got registered and went to our room. The Inn is an older place but is well kept up. Sure if you look hard you can always find something. We got in the room and it was clean and smelled nice. About 45 minutes after we were there we smell an electrical order. My wife and I are both retired fire Captain's.  We calld the desk and told the lady what we smelled and she was right there. When she came she brought a key to another room. Any time you are dealing with something mechanical they will break. Not the lodges fault. The lady told me she would be on the desk the next morning and she was. I found out that she is the manager.  I will stay here again when I need to stay in Hochatown or near there.
