Café Pension zum Jäger 

At Cafe-Pension Zum-Jager the owners take excellent care of their guests. The owners and staff at the Pension are very friendly, always helpful, full of attention to detail and create a relaxing family-like atmosphere. The location of the Pension in Buchboden is perfect for starting daily hikes/walks in the near mountains. In early June the alpine-meadows are full of beautiful flowers and we even spotted the amazing 'Gelber Frauenschuh'. The rooms are clean well maintained with comfortable beds and offer a view at the surrounding mountains. Opening a window in the room and you can hear the comforting sound of the little stream in the valley. In the morning the breakfast contains a good selection of bread, yoghurt, serials, fruit and Walser cheese. Walking down the stairs in the morning the smell of fresh baked cake welcomes you. This is indeed one of these rare places where they really have home-made cake. You can also eat diner at the restaurant. The food is made from fresh local products with attention to detail. Vegetarian options are also available. There is also the possibility to charge your Electric Vehicle. Highly recommended if you look for a tranquil and caring stay in the mountains with many opportunities to walk/hike in the valley and mountains.
