Lake view from resort is very eye catching.

I recently returned to Depe Dene after a long time, and I was blown away by the improvements under the new ownership! Our stay was fantastic, with breathtaking views and a welcoming atmosphere. My family and I loved it so much, we even spoke to the front desk upon departure about booking in advance for the same time next year! Can’t wait to go back!

The views are absolutely stunning, and the vibe is super chill. Our room was very cozy —perfect for unwinding after a day of adventures. I would definitely recommend Depe Dene if you’re looking for a laid-back getaway with breathtaking scenery and lots to do! We enjoyed playing pickleball in the morning and fishing off their docks. Can’t wait to go back!

We had a great stay! Lovely views right on the lake and just minutes to Lake George village. Lakefront 3 room cabin was clean and quiet. We will definitely be back!

Which room we booked it was amazing lake view and it has balcony,very beautiful view you can see from balcony.

Close proximity to Lake George village, the price was excellent as well as the beds. Great view of the Lake. The rooms need some upkeep, but they are clean, and the beds were firm and the pillows were excellent. I would stay here again.

The property is vast with lots of activities available. Our little cabin was clean, cozy and warm. We loved that there was a regular sized coffee pot for our morning coffee!

We didnt plan to stay more than one night here but loved the reaort so much we booked two additional nights. Staff were friendly and accomodating, rooms were clean and beds were very comfy. The location was beautiful with views of the lake and easily accessible to many of the local attractions we visited. Would definitely recommend to friends & family and will stay again if ever back in the area.

Our first night we booked a small 2 bedroom cottage and were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and comfort provided. The beds are super comfy, other furnishings were well maintained & worked great. The small porch area was quaint and short walk to the lake.  Our 2nd night we moved to a room with a view of the lake and it also is very clean and comfortable. Staff have been wonderful and weve enjoyed our stay so much, we booked 2 more nights here. The only slight negatives were the shower's hot & cold is hooked up backwards in the cottage we were in and there is a loose board on the deck overlooking the lake as soon as you step out our room's door. Definitely not deal breakers for this beautiful place.

The view was spectacular and the grounds were nicely kept. The actual blogs and furnishings are extremely in need of updating. The beds and linings were lovely and comfy. The kitchen is severely under equipped. In a unit that could have accommodated 6 , there was one 10 inch frypan and a one quart. There were no bowls to serve, eg salad. Had to use the frypan.John the maintenance man was very helpful. The size of the unit was comfortable.

This property right on Lake George has seen better days, but we enjoyed our stay nonetheless. I would not recommend it for anybody with mobility issues, as it was rather difficult to get from the area that we parked to the actual room.  The views were lovely, and it was a nice place to stay for one night on our road trip.

Sticky floor and table .Flies…Flies….Flies! Would have liked more attention to overall appeal.Clean beds and roomy but upgrade on visuals needed.Clean entrance and overall attention to maintenance.Security issues: no bolt locks on doors.  All windows difficult to lock.  A little far from downtown and longer to outlets. Sorry but enjoyed our stay nevertheless!

We stayed 2 nights at the Depe Dene Lakeside resort. The first night we stayed in the recently renovated Lakefront Two Queen Efficiencies. The second night we stayed in the Beachfront Two-Bedroom Bungalows. The Lakefront Two Queen Efficiencies were very nice and clean. And the view from the porch is breathtaking. We would have stayed both nights there but it was booked. Although the Beachfront bungalow had a full kitchen, it was in desparate need of renovations and on top of that, also more expensive. My advice to anyone coming to the Depe Dene Lakeside Resort is to stay at the Lakefront properties. They are well worth the money. Staff were very friendly and the resort itself was very beautiful. Just make sure you aren't staying in one of their older properties. That makes all the difference. We will definately come back again as long as we can stay in the newly renovated queen efficencies, otherwise it's not worth it.

Great place, as long as you stay in the right bungalow. The difference is night and day.

Recently stayed here for a quick getaway in Lake George, and while you’re not going to find 5-star luxury right on the lake, this spot is great. Lakefront accommodations are usually a bit dated, but this place stood out for being clean and well-maintained. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, and they thoughtfully provided all the essentials (not just your basics). I especially loved having access to the on-site kayak and paddle board, which made for some fun on the water. The beach is small, but it’s perfect for cooling off with a quick dip on a hot summer day. They also have a nice pool and restaurant on the premises, though we didn’t get a chance to use them because of our short stay. The front desk staff was super friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Overall, it’s a great option for a laid-back, relaxing stay by the lake!

Cozy lakefront stay

We stayed in a Lakeview unit and the views were fantastic. The staff was very friendly and helpful. And the beach lent itself to launching our own kayaks nicely. Full kitchen allowed us to prepare our own meals and did not need to bring anything other than food. The mattresses were surprisingly very comfortable. There was a large assortment of activities, such as tennis, Pickleball, volleyball. They provide all the equipment and it was a lot of fun. Would highly recommend this place.
