This visit to Campobasso was our first. We arrived and rang the bell to no response. I had my phone handy and called the number provided. I was met by a plesant conversation, with the owner who promised to be there in 20 minutes. After 15, she appeared and led us into an ancient Italian apartment building. When we reached the prima piano, she opened the apartment into an awesome sight. The apartment looked like the inside of a palace. Beautifully decorated, conserving the details of a home several hundred years ago. The rooms were each unique, spacious, spotless, and delightfully appointed. The breakfast was made up of packaged food, the same everyday. However, we would stay there again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended for those who are attracted to romantic places.
