I wanted an inexpensive hotel in Gavrion and this turned out to be a little gem. The room was clean, the bed comfy with lovely soft pillows and the shower was fabulous, good pressure and plenty of hot water. There was a fancy door onto the small balcony that could be opened as a door or as a window hinged at the bottom. Soap and shampoo were provided and replenished, and there was a full size fridge, which was brilliant as it kept my beer and water cold, as well as the vegan cheese and meat items that I took with. I would definitely stay at this hotel again, but would take my travel kettle as I missed my morning coffee. That said, the local baker sold black coffee at €2 and water at €1 for 1.5litre. Costas was very personable and spoke excellent English.
