The breakfast was delicious and with love. The owners made it feel like home. The place is under renovation but still beautiful. Looks like a botanic gardens “hermoso”. With jaw dropping views to the ocean, yes the ocean even for being so far inland. 11 out of 10!

This was an amazing stay. Ricardo and his family were so hospitable, helpful and welcoming.They truly made our vacation wonderful and we will be returning to Serena Boutique Hotel. The room was clean, the hot tub was perfect, the views are breathtaking. We felt like we were in a home away from home. I can't say enough good things about this place, what a HIDDEN GEM!

We had a fantastic time, Gloria, Risbel and Ricardo, made us feel right at home, they went above and beyond to meet our needs. The place is fantastic, stunning views, surrounded by nature, but still not too far from the most common visiting sights. Already planning our trip back to Serena Boutique Hotel.

Very serene and peaceful property in the mountains. Beautiful view. The staff was very hospitable and welcoming. The homemade breakfast cooked by Risbel and Glory was delicious. During our stay, a hurricane was passing, Risbel, Ricardo, Joseph, and Glory were very accomodating, turning on a generator when electricity was out and updating us on the weather and severity of the hurricane. The property is very safe. We were provided a remote to open the gate that secures the property. My girls enjoyed the pool. Ricardo invited them to help feed the chickens. Risbel was awesome at recommending things to do and places to eat. I would highly recommend Serena Boutique Hotel.

Paradise!

This place was perfect for our needs as we have been to Puerto Rico several times. The food, especially breakfast and the hosts’ hospitality was excellent! Highly recommend a vehicle for exploring outside the immediate area. Beautiful views and setting. The property is still a work in progress and imagine it will be really amazing once completed.

The family that owns this beautiful place were the sweetest most accommodating, helpful people ever! We didn’t rent a car so they ran to the store and bought us whatever we needed, took us on a 4 hour tour, cooked amazing breakfast’s each morning. I could not have picked a better place to stay on our honeymoon! And I will be coming back every year!

The property was located in the middle of a Rainforest with a view of San Juan and the ocean.  It was beautiful lots of flowers and lush greenery.  Very quiet and fell asleep at night to the Coquis.  Racardo and Gloria go out of the way to make you fell comfortable and welcome!  Gloria breakfasts are amazing!  You could not ask for a better stay if you want to experience the hospitality and the people if Puerto Rico!!!

This is a hidden gem! I always enjoy unique places to stay and this fit the bill. Very welcoming, felt like I was visiting family. Take note of other reviews about the driveway conditions and directions. I am a country girl so it didn’t bother me, but it is a bit tricky. The rooster added charm and I enjoyed the early wake up call. I would definitely come back for another stay!

As you all know the road to paradise is never an easy one, so is the road leading to Serena hotel however once you reach this peace of paradise believe Me, You will not want leave . First thing first. Must have a 4 by 4  vehicle to get down and up the road. If only I could  add a video cause describing it does not do it justice But once you go up and down once or twice you will be a pro like us.We stayed in the lemonade room for 4 magical days. Every corner of the hotel was super clean and our room smelled amazing. This family redefine hospitality, they make us feel like an extended family. We vacationed 4 times a year for the past 15years either as family or has a couple and Ricardo, his lovely wife Glory & daughter plus Joseph are the most gracious hosts we ever encountered during our travels so far. They will go above and beyond to ensure that you're comfortable, You can contact them 24/7 any hours of the day/night and they will answer and execute your wishes. Their commitment to hospitality is unmatched.Ricardo is very knowledgeable, He can help you save or direct you on outing like el yunque rain forest, luquillo Beach, Lechoneras, Guavate etc..What an amazing experience, we cannot wait to go back to PR in August for our family vacation, and Thank You to all the Staffs at SERENA Hotel for an unforgettable experience. We will surely recommend this location.PS: Must try Glory's oatmeal. it's to die for.

We loved the spot, it’s breathtaking and we will absolutely be back. The staff is exceptional and very accommodating.Something to note; this property is under renovation after years of neglect. While it was perfect for us, we were not in the market for a resort. The hot tub was warm at best and same goes for the shower. There are areas that you can’t access for your own safety but still plenty of room.Very safe, very clean, very beautiful spot.
