It's a guesthouse in a good location in the vientiane. The rooms are clean and tidy. But they are very poorly soundproofed speaking. We hear everything that happens in the next rooms.

The staff verbally harassing my husband! Asking him if he likes man multiple times/tell him that if he horny, call him/stalking my husband to his romm. This is really terrible. Please take a Good care of your staff!!

The hotel is very basic, it's okay for a couple of nights in Vientiane with a great location, but the review is mostly for the staff and specifically Pamee Noy who was a real angel. I had some difficulties that I'm not here to tell you, you just need to know that I lost my cell phone in the shell of a minivan. Noy helped me in everything and everything to solve the problem even though it wasn't held. They are the kind of people who make you love places and people, he made so much difference. Thank you very much and I hope one day to repay kindness.

The Angel of Vientiane

Unfortunately, we ended up here because the nearby hotel we booked ended up being overbooked and I was tired and didn't want to search much longer to find a suitable alternative after a long travel day. So, I didn't do my usual research and just settled here.

Let me start with a few positives.

1. If you don't care about having Wi-Fi in your room, then this might be a decent budget option.
2. The staff are super friendly. The daytime staff speaks better English than the nighttime staff.
3. Location - centrally located with access to many good attractions & food options, including several outdoor food courts like Cowboy Park.
4. Incredibly hot shower. One of the best I've experienced in SE Asia.

And now to the negatives:

1. No Wi-Fi in our room. It shows that there's a connection, but it doesn't really work. And we stayed on the second floor in the room closest to the lobby. So, if you need Wi-Fi, like we did to research our next locations, then you need to go to the lobby. At night, the lobby is full of mosquitos so I kept getting bitten while sitting in the lobby trying to research for our travels.

2. Yes, there's a mild stench near the bathroom of our room. It was tolerable, but every time we walked inside our room, you can smell the odor. 

3. There's a TV in the room that doesn't work. No big deal since we're not visiting Laos to watch TV.

4. Bed is hard. 

Anyway, the only reason to stay at this hotel is if your #1 priority is a hot shower, good location, and you don't need Wi-Fi in your room. There are plenty of other options to consider before you end up here.

Horrible Wi-Fi but very hot shower

Good dorm room with hot showers and comfortable beds. All hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. They also booked a bus to Hanoi for us. They have a nice cafe and communal area in the guest house too. Would definitely recommend. 

A great stay!

We booked for 2 nights but My boyfriend wanted to leave after the first night.
There're a hole on the door and they put a tissue to fix that, old bed sheet and WiFi was not so good on the 3th floor.
We moved to another place which was cheaper and better nearby.

not clean and stinky

Top floor rooms without private bathroom offer a quiet night (depending on your neighbours of course). Shared bathrooms are ok, clean and functional. Staff is friendly and the lobby is a nice place to surf online. 

Quiet room with excellent location

The hotel is located in the very center of Vientiane on a quiet street. The balcony room cost 20 dollars. The room is quite standard, clean, good bed and laundry. There is air conditioning.

It's pretty decent for a budget hotel.

We liked the hotel, we got three rooms. One on the first floor, a large room with two beds; one on the second floor with one large bed; and one on the last floor with one large bed and amenities on the floor. All rooms are clean. On the first floor there is a café bar with discounts for hotel guests. There is an exit to the roof, where tables stand and you can arrange social gatherings. The staff is responsive, but not traded.

You can have dinner on the roof.

One of the best guesthouses in the area, a nice hall with air conditioning and a bar with great shakes, a normal room but with an outdoor bathroom, affordable price: 100,000 kips in two. The problem with this guesthouse is the staff: arrogant, unsociable and terribly insistent on wanting to know what time we would leave the room when the reception is clearly stated check out at 12:00.
