Called in as part of a tour group for a set lunch. Fresh and tasty Egyptian food.  Quick efficient service, drinks reasonable priced.  I think there may have been a show on after lunch but our group was moving on. Small business at its best in Egypt !  Well done

Set lunch on tour

We stopped at the El Ezba restaurant for lunch and it was a fun and authentic experience. Real Egyptian food in a raw and little run-down but charming setting. It was a bit shabby, but the food was good and it was fun to see the women baking the bread.

Restaurant with authentic Egyptian feel to it

Off the beaten track, truly authentic Egyptian food. If you want to go where the locals go, this is it! It doesn’t look like much, granted it’s not fancy. But it was delicious and the service was wonderful! Everything is made by hand and the bread is done over an open oven. Great place!

Make the trip!

The place has a little bit of everything. Nice decoration according to the African lifestyle.  Food was delicious and fresh . Very colorful. They have camel inside for rides and pictures. I didn't stay in the hotel ... maybe it's not the best option as per the way it looks .

Just a group lunch after pyramids.

The food was really nice and delicious. Very much Arabic themed which we enjoyed a lot. Besides, our son had a good time there too riding a small pony and enjoying in the park. One should definitely visit there while visiting Cairo.

Great food

Yes, it's a restaurant in the countryside of Cairo, but it's worth visiting for its typical cuisine, very good and copious, this establishment offers you a natural setting, because the service is under a patio

It's worth the turn

We didn't actually stay at the resort but we stopped there for a group lunch as a tour group after a day trip to the pyramids and sphinx.  I thought the food was very good.  It was worth it for us for the restaurant, but it's probably not a very nice place to stay.

Go For the Restaurant Only

We went into an organized group, ordered a soup that I couldn't drink because it was brought in served in a glass, carried and served at another table. The food was scarce and the chicken burned. I had never seen such a small dessert. For dessert they charged in euros with an abusive change. NOTHING RECOMMENDED!!!!

Cochino y pesimo is the worst.

We had finished our visit to Sakkara and asked our local guide if he knew of any place to eat recommended food, and he took us to the EL ELZA Restaurant, which is located inside a Hotel - Resort.She took care of ordering a tasting menu, which they probably have for the few tourists who come to the place, or as the locals told us to go to celebrate some anniversary.

I write my opinion about the restaurant.

It is a very bad place supposed to be a village to explore the village authentic life... It is a very bad place not clean, poor service, very crowded, pool is not clean, toilets bad smell. Place full of flies. Animals like the camel & the horse are very dirty & smells bad. Staff are not helpful & very greedy for money....even the food is not services not. The only good thing is the pie " Egyptian fetyr mshaltt", honey & old white cheese called mesh which some how spicy.
