Thais is the best place to be if you want to stay in Tarija. If have been staying in this hotel every time I go to Bolivia Tarija. It is a little bit far from the city, but that is the beauty of it. Anyway if about 15 minutes you are in the city with the bus or a taxi. In this hotel you can use the pool and also the tennis court. I recommend this hotel to everybody.

Best Hotel Tarija

Nice hotel, the owners or administrators are of Danish origin and are very kind and friendly with all requests.The rooms are very nice some have shared bathrooms, ideal for families.The entrance is a bit bumpy if you don't know the place, the sign for the entrance to the hotel is ambiguous but not inexistent.The location of the hotel is in tomatoes a little far from the center of Tarija.The breakfast is basic but rich!

It is painted and very attractive.

We came from cold La Paz and needed to have a little sun. Even though the hole country is entering winter, Tarija is still quite warm. So we wanted a pool so we could lay in the sun for some hours.
When we arrived we were worried we came to a privet mansion but the host, Martin, welcomed us and started to explain practical things. Because it's low season in Tarija we were the only one there. First it was a little awkward because it still felt like a privet house, but Martin, his children and Valeria were really nice. Breakfast was really good! Only thing is that the dining room was extremely cold in the morning. The room was amazing, really clean, beautiful decoration and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was also really beautiful! But the shower was tricky to get in to, so if you have problems moving easily you should ask if they have another kind of shower. 
We eat två dinners in the house and it was really good. We eat vegetarian food and Valeria made good tasting and different meal. 
The place is outside the city and it's easy to get to and from. You take lokal bus A or B and it will leaving you in town, also the bus stops if exactly were the house is i Tomatitos. 
I recommend this place if you want a quiet place away from the city life and of your want a pool and vegetarian food 😊. I would come back. 

Beautiful place 

The place had a problem with booking (all the rooms were occupied) and we were offered a different room than we booked. When we arrived we were taken to an outhouse (no pictures of it online) with a cracked ceiling, toilet across the yard (no paper, messy), windows covered with newspaper - a proper dump. Since the whole Tarija was 100% booked and it was late we agreed. We were asked the money in advance in cash (280 BOB). The owner said he had no money on him and showed his empty wallet. We paid. When we started asking for the key to lock the room, for toilet paper etc the owner got really impolite and left. After 10 min he came back, having realized about our unhappy situation. First he showed us a normal empty room which was apparently already booked and then took us to another room and said we could stay there. 
The place itself was very beautiful but there was a constant noise (pool water flowing through the pipes?) which kept us up all night. 
The sleepless night together with the very unpleasant welcoming made us leave the place first thing in the morning. 
The place itself might have a lot of potential but our experience was nothing but rubbish. 

Weird dissapointment

This is a great place to stay if you would like character, style and tranquility. Close to Tarija, a local minibus goes every 5 minutes, and yet so quiet that the air is constantly filled with birdsong. I came for 3 nights and stayed 6. Not sure what to do in the area because I spent so much time just enjoying the peace and the swimming pool. An excellent breakfast is also included. Good value for money. There is a kitchen if you want to cook.

Stylish, quiet and an awesome swimming pool

This hotel is the best that exists in Tarija Bolivia. The water is rich, the beds are cozy, the atmosphere is friendly, the people are very supportive. There is a beautiful pool with a part knot to browse through. There is also a large flat part for children. The tennis court is very fun and excellent location on the river bank. The hotel in colonial style and newly built is very cozy. It feels happy and is a home to return anytime for a vacation or stroll. Very recommended!

Excellent location, very friendly people, comfortable atmosphere, feel happy in this place.
