Great property 2 blocks from Plaza Mayor.  Good food and shopping in walking distance.

Perfect spot in Tarija!

We spent two days, with great quality and warmth of attention from ALL his staff at the head of his manager, Mr. Gustavo Olarte, the room on the fourth floor is very spacious, good heating and air conditioning, very clean, the bathroom and everything in general, it is in the center of Tarija from where it is very easy to move around.

QUALITY and QUALITY OF ATTENTION!!!

Room 204 was full of mold, the smell unbearable, despite my request for a change of accommodation I was told that the hotel was full and at night it was found that it had free rooms as they were open and without guests.

The moisture on the walls was unbearable, even though I asked for a room change.

It is a hotel in the heart of the city, very close to the main square, and in the middle of the shopping area. It is therefore very well located, it is clean, nice, however, because of its location in the center, at night there is usually a lot of noise from the street. Ideal if one goes on work plan.

Clean and Well located

He recently visited Tarija and asked me to stay at this hotel. Pros: Very centrally located, reasonably varied breakfast, good internet speed. Contras: The room was quite small, the shower door opened, the lounge also, at the reception there was no printer to print your pass on board.

 Central location and reasonable price

It's comfortable in the center, the rooms are clean, good pressure in the shower, normal breakfast the start time is quite late at 7.30 hours if you want to leave early, there's a smoking area, it's two blocks from the main square.

I stayed at the hotel for a business trip and my experience was rather negative as all the rooms and a kind of central hall in which the reception is located and does not have any kind of sound insulation.The reception TV is turned on all night with a high volume, is heard every time they use the printer or when guests enter and the worst of all is that the receptionist chats on his cell phone all night with the volume on.The quality of the facilities is at hotel level, but honestly it rests badly in the hotel and I personally would not stay there again.

Good location but very poor service.

checked into a room where only 3 of the 6 lightbulbs worked. In the course of the day another bulb blew off.  Breakfast simple Bolivian style.
Hotel should change or put their noisy printer somewhere else as the noise is transmited to all the rooms.

Excellent location, new cleanliness and the best attention!!! It is close to all the tourist attractions in the city center contact with travel agencies and garages, the city very clean and its beautiful squares!!!

 Centric clean and Exelente Atención

The Hotel del Sol is undoubtedly well located, and as the Lonely Planet puts it, it has a nice entrance. However that is about it.

All the rooms in the hotel give to a patio where there is the reception (the secretary and the security guy) and a small living with a flat TV. The TV is more for the people int the reception to watch It all day at high volume which disturbs all the rooms in the hotel (starting early in the morning). Moreover they have a printer from the 80s which makes a noise when a single line is being printed. Moreover, try to get a good morning or good bye from the people of the reception. Forget it.

Our room was a bit rundown: old curtains, painting peeling off, and the bed linen was old as well.

It is unfortunate because the hotel has good potential.
