This is my 4th visit to this hotel, but this time I was very disappointed in all aspects. It is true that the hotel will be closed for renovation but it is still not guaranteed to the guests a minimum of comfort, rooms or we find dust everywhere or the air conditioning does not work, at the reception I am told that breakfast is served from 5:30, surprise at 6:30 the server tells me that there is nothing but juices!!! he told me that when he arrives at the hotel he finds nothing of the hotel!!!it is a shame for a hotel 4 unfortunately it was just for one.

Disappointing

If you want to sleep badly and eat badly at an exorbitant price, you are at the right address. Seybouse  international  (LOL) is one of those hotels now run by the state (EGT: Tourist Management Company, resulting from the restructuring measures of the Algerian National Enterprises in 1982) and whose maintenance fruit leaves you wanting for decades. Bruit, unhealthy dishes, even bad odors, unfit and unpleasant staff, bad night, depressing atmosphere... Stay here for sure. Some people say: I come from a small coffee shop there and I'm sure it's easy to see: If I'm sitting on a hot bar next morning, I'm probably having to wait a long time to see it: I'm having to wait for a second night: I'm probably not having a good experience: I'm not having to wait until after the reception: I'm having a nice breakfast, but I'm not having a problem with it, because I'm not having any problem with my breakfast, but I'm not having to go down to the kitchen, but I'm not

A rotten hotel that deserves to be demolished!

A real stable. There's no shelter, no food, no cleanliness. Plus the prices are too high. We spent one night with my colleagues and then we ran away. There's no water. We couldn't take a shower. The dishes are just heated without taste. The food lost its taste and took on the taste of the fridge. The dirty, smelly carpet. A thick dust on the furniture. The dirty and torn sheets. No TV channels. When I called the front desk, no one answered.

The Disaster

I've been there many times, a classy hotel, luxurious rooms, beautiful views that dominate the whole city and especially the view from a restaurant (last floor) very good dishes, very professional restaurant staff and especially the Algerian xD, Negative points: pool without water, poorly attended at night, some profitable employees,

Very good hotel.

I think we need to completely renovate it. training for the staff is a necessity. It is a shame for Algerian tourism. And I am very kind.

What to Avoid

As of April 2016, the Seybouse was still the tallest hotel in town and judging by my experience, not the most expensive either in Annaba. That would be Le Majestic next door which charged about 1000 Dinars more for a room half the size and much more dingy. I arrived pretty much with a verbal reservation from the receptionist at the Ibis in Constantine when asked about recommendations in Annaba, and the Seybouse came highly-recommended. 

I paid 5700 Dinars (Le Majestic wanted 6500 or thereabouts) for a twin-bed room (1211) with perfect views of the city and the Mediterranean from the balcony. The room was also huge and the bathroom included just that - a bath and a shower. No curtain though so spillage was regular. 

Breakfast was poor - it did offer bespoke omelettes - as was the internet but then so is everywhere in Algeria.

But plenty of plugs and everything is close by. A taxi to the bus station takes about 10 minutes.

Visas accepted. Recommended.

By Algerian standard and for a state-run hotel, quite good value AND it accepts VISA

For work reasons, I travel regularly and stay in different hotels, more or less modest, from different countries, more or less developed, but the least I need is a certain cleaning, which has nothing to do with the hotel category or the development of the country. This is the Hottest hotel I remember in many years. It's not a problem of some hair in the bathroom, but what I found there was the last deposition of the previous client, besides an infinity of hair and lipstick, of course. The other room carpet hasn't been vacuumed for months, so you can see scattered on the floor the remains of all kinds that accumulate in time. In the room there is not a single enchute to clean up the furniture. The next thing I'm concerned about is that there is no one who is going to clean up the furniture. There is no one who is sure that there is a better way to clean the kitchen, and no one who is looking for a better way to use the coffee tables in this area.

The lobby is nothing special but the only place where you can take good care of the wi-fi (free) that is otherwise sometimes blocked. The rooms are to be refurbished. Mine was quite small, furnished with old furniture and in imperfect condition. The lighting was given by a single low-power neon lamp near the window, those next to the bed were not working.

I've been there for 2 nights working.....comfortable but not very clean.....let's say it needs an immediate restoration...also because we had problems with water, both cold and hot........we paid relatively little....and we consumed a dinner on which we overflowed.....in general a sufficiently sturdy...beautiful position....but to be restored immediately!'!!!!!!!!!!!

Let's restore it!!!!!!!

This is an old big hotel in the centre of Annaba. The best is the view on the city. However a big new built Sheraton hotel takes a part of the view. The staff is friendly but the services and hygiene are bit poor. It's a hotel for people who need to be in the centre. Otherwise there are better ones nearby at the beach.
