For me, it is a place that can be recommended. They followed all that was offered to me and the attention is very good. Very nice people from the person who cares for you on the phone, the receptionists, the people from the restaurant. Everyone, everyone, very good people. The location is very good. They eat very good and tasty dishes. A greeting to them from Tigre, Buenos Aires, Argentina

The second day they said my room whas rented and I needed to go out they moved me to an other room I told them the next day I would leave in the early evening they charged me almost full price and at 4 pm they kick me out 
To an other guest they did the same the place is not clean the food is very bad and very unfriendly manger

A total rip off

I spent a few good days there, the attention was excellent, saying otherwise would be unfair, and I was able to combine everything according to my needs, and everything I talked about in my booking was respected, there were no surprises, greetings and thanks for all the kindness they treated me.

It's the second time I've stayed here because of their excellent care and location.

Excellent to visit and know Coyoacán.

Although there is no flexibility for meals, they should enable them early or simply not charge for the service but will use it, because one is in work.

Good for a solo guest trip.

If it takes too long to get out of hot water (you can waste a lot of water), breakfast is served A FIRST at 11 AM and on Sundays there is no restaurant service.

Good location, poor facilities

This year we are staying here again and very unfortunately, as their service has lost much quality rather than improving it. The owner seems not to visit his business and on arrival, even having made a deposit with a week in advance, did not have our rooms on time. I realize that it does not have enough staff to provide maintenance to the space, since even the sheets can wash. It has become a dirty place, however, I have noticed that the owner (perhaps very well maintained) does not offer enough personal tools to keep his job. (No invitation to employees, clean up the place) The room has not been cleaned in time.

La Casa del Tekolote is a B&B-style hotel. The reception is at the Restaurant under the same name, and the rooms are ~5 min walking away, at what I guess is a private house. I was told that my room was the largest, it was on the first floor and was probably a part of a private apartment before. The room was spacious and the bed (one of the two in the room) was comfortable enough. I only had issues with wifi access (the staff gave me a wrong key) and hot water (I was not patient to allow several minutes before it got hot). The interior was simple and clean.

The hotel is in a very nice, quiet neighbourhood (Coyoacan) and is about 20 min walking from the nearest metro station (also Coyoacan). A cozy quarter with a market, park, lots of cafes and bars is ~ 15 min walking to the south, opposite direction to the Coyoacan metro. It's a pity I didn't have much time to walk there. It's perhaps a better option than Plaza Garibaldi or other popular spots for your dinner.

Last but not least, la Casa del Tekolote is a good option in terms of room rate! They offer one free daily meal, though the restaurant only opens at 10 or 11am and is closed on Monday.

B&B style in a nice neighbourhood

A hotel located a few steps from the center of Coyoacan, a popular neighborhood in Mexico. The atmosphere is warm and the price of the room includes a meal of choice....The rooms are very clean and spacious.
