Very nice accommodation. We slept in a 5 bed dormitory. It was very nice (except for our roommates...). There is a nice terrace. Breakfast is understood and very good. The staff is welcoming and provides the necessary information. Thank you.

I loved this place, so much so that it was so hard to leave. The service was stellar ! The rooms and bathrooms super clean, and the lounge comfortable and inciting. The staff know what service is about. The breakfast was simple, but lovely and delicious. I would recommend this place to any traveller.

We where not allowed to have the remote control for the ac. Staff turns ac on at 7 pm, daytime they turn it off


4 bed dorm

We spent 2 nights in this hotel in a private room with private sdb, about the cleanliness nothing to say and for the reception too, it is very well located in the city center. On the other hand it is very noisy, from 5am it lives in the hotel and we hear everything...and the karaoke music that is 20 meters away does not stop until midnight, difficult to sleep well!! The pdj is just right.. so to summarize it is well placed and cheap, here..to you to see!

For the price and location!

I stayed only one night. but I liked here, I booked the female dorm bed for coming sunday before leaving here. the staffs are very kind and helpful. I bought the bus ticket here as well. its better to come and pay here.

clean & quiet & kind staff!

Wifi is ok, breakfast quite small but ok, room not bad, not enough toilets and showers, but anyway, it would not be a big issue.
What i was mostly dissapointed of was the service and policy, i came at 8am and asked if my bed is readdy, they said it is readdy but i can not check in until 1pm as the policy says so, was useless to argue with them, they just dont want to help you.

Very bad policy and behaviour

I stayed here for two nights and liked it very much. The hotel is very clean, the staff is friendly and the beds quite comfortable. Moreover it is situated perfectly - right next to a pretty good night food market and just a few walking minutes away to the Mekong or 'city center'. The breakfast which was included in my stay was basic but ok. I got some cereals, milk, fruits and orange juice. Don't expect something exceptionel though. 
The reason for just giving four stars is that when I asked for an extra blanket I had to pay a rent of 5.000kip. I have never experienced something like this and I actually think it's not the nicest way. The blankets are quite thin and normally they are enough but I got sick over here and were freezing the whole time. I would have expected to get an extra blanket without having to pay for it.
But apart from this incident it is definitely a nice place to stay.

Nice and clean Place

The first day we arrived at 5.30 in the morning 5 people and decided to wait until 7 to be polite and not disturb guests and staff so early, so once it opened nothing really changed because they said  check-in time is at 13.00 o'clock.
We just accepted the rule and thought it maybe full of people and of course needs time to be cleaned.. but when we were just alowed to bring our bags up we saw the whole dorm was totally free... no kidding!! Then I asked why to wait if everything was ready and clean, the answer: "because no". I should have understood at that point from the beginning that they do illogical things here. So we waited our time and were alowed to check in at 13.24 .. also later-.-
While waiting for the room I took a coffee with some guys met in the morning, when I got up to pay mine, as soon as I left the coffee shop the guy ran behind me wanting to make me pay the breakfast of the other fella ( that was still inside, finishing to eat ) .. absolutely non sense! Then I had to explain that I pay what I consume, not the whole bill of other guests. 
The strange thing is that, I saw them having this sort of physical action only this time, for money; normally they are super lazy and make everything 10 times slower average people because are always kind of staying there but not wanting to.
About the price: I'd suggest you to walk in because the prices are very different, it's 40.000 kip for bed in the dorm;
The beds are filled of bugs and bite the crap out of me.. I couldn't leave because I had paid the whole stay of 10 days.
The woman at the front desk is grumpy, unfriendly, lazy and impolite. 
They have also a sort of cafe next to the b&b; and out of the hole staff not 1 girl is a bit smiling and 1 guy that some times stays at the desk but none of them speaks any English, says ever a "thank you" or ever greets you.. so do not expected any form of education ..
The showers are cold, but sometimes get fixed.. like after 9 days of complains.
The breakfast is ok, you'll have 2 choices.. fair enough!
They try to be clean anyway but bugs kill it all..they're literally everywhere from the sofas to the beds and lobby.
They want you not to wear slippers inside, but if you'll try to do it you won't get rid of the dirt under tryout feet for weeks.
So I choose to buy special slippers only for inside.
In the b&b there are only dorms, but be ready to be moved each day from the lady that owns it, from flour 4 to 1 and to all the others fro EACH DAY.. Because if she manages to sell a double room for 160.000 she'll give the people the dorm.. so that she always moves people together, to free the once dorm, for the new guests as "private room".. which doesn't make any sense, because Instead  of selling 10 beds of the dorm making 400.000kip she sells it for 160.000 as double room.. and when people walks in can't be accepted because of this "smart move" .
I've seen here a lot of things that do not make any sense and aren't even logic.. absolutely random actions without any thinking or reason.
Never seen a country like this in asia and I've been travelling 16 months here and visited 12 countries ( in Asia) .. This is the first time I'll say don't come to this country, there's nothing.. they just want to rip you off and do not do it in a smart or subtle way because they're too lazy even for that.
The only nice thin are the Kuang Si falls in Lunag prabang.. nothing else's in the whole country.

Ps. I'd suggest Lao people to change their attitude if they want to increase their incomes with tourism.. because so far 95% of people met in 15 day here would never come back in Laos generally speaking..
The other 5% would go anywhere, where they can find booze and party, the sort of things they could do at home but prefer paying 1000$ fight ticket to do it in Asia xD, this sums up everything.

Disappointed!!Lao people unfriendly and super Lazy!

I slept in the women's dormitory and everything went well. The room is rather spacious compared to other hostels. Beware of those and those who are leaving soon: arrange toilet towels because in this type of accommodation there is never one. And no soap anywhere.

Nice place to sleep.

Excellent price ratio! It's extremely clean, the toilet (which has paper) is separate from the shower, warm. The wifi is quite slow but available everywhere. The rooms are comfortable, and I didn't have any problem sleeping despite the lack of curtains on the windows. There are many electric sockets. A few slight improvements: even though the hostel offers transportation services, it doesn't offer pick-up from the airport (but the reverse is possible). Breakfast is basic. No toilet required. Apart from that, the rest is almost perfect!
