Rooms that don't fit the description, or the photos that are probably old... probably noisy, because they're overlooking the bar on the first floor.

What to Avoid

Ok we make a mistakes by booked two rooms instead of one room in Agoda.
Once we arrived at the hostel we asked to take only one room, they said ok...
But the day after they asked us to pay for two rooms...

Maybe we book a room of someone else and they could earn more money without our reservation but it's false, because it was in low season and there were a lot of room available.

Really bad experience with our reservation

The site is still magical, because there are very few beach hotels in Kep. But most of all the rooms have been remodeled and the setting improved. It was Thuy who created the Rega in Phnom Penh and Kep in the past who took over the business. She still does the same good cooking, and if you need a little corner of paradise for a few days, it's found. The best room with sea view is $30.

Great since the change of manager.

Excellent Khmer dishes with a thousand flavors, from simple, very good local cuisine to ridiculously low prices, 20 dollars a 2 with drinks, service and smile that comes with, a beautiful view of the sea and the islands across the street.

It's a great little restaurant.

I had to stay two nights and finally I only did one night. But I still asked to change rooms. The proposed room was dirty, the toilets were unsanitary and the only window was on the restaurant terrace. The second room wasn't any better, the mold on the walls, the laundry had brown traces. And the smell of the kitchen goes straight back to the rooms. I took a look at the bathroom in the renovated rooms, it's just from the hotel room. The hotel looks more like a hotel than a tourist hotel.

Unhealthy and inhospitable

Brise de Kep Restaurant ( a French looking place though no-one speaks French!) is one of the least welcoming places in Cambodia. So unusual in this Smiling Country. The staff look like they are all out of energy. No ' Welcome', no ' Good Bye'. Very sad.

No Welcome No Goodbye

I bought a ticket to go to the rabbit island (A/R transfer tuk-tuk included). It went well overall. - I bought a ticket to go to Kampot (A/R transfer tuk-tuk included). - I ordered the Champa Mekong company. The Champa Mekong bus was there at the time, but did not want to pick us up, and because of this: looking closely, I saw that it was the Vietnamese company Kampot tours & travel marked on my ticket. I would not have trusted the young girl who speaks so well. Despite more than an hour of waiting and many rallies, the bus never arrived. But we finally had a beautiful VIP in the Mercedes.

This is the first time I've seen this.

It's not a palace, but it's cheap. The room has air conditioning and hot water. The restaurant terrace provides a nice relaxation area facing the sea. The staff is nice and the French-speaking manager is kind and helpful. What else?

It's cheap.

The upstair dining provided a good view of the close area. We had pork springrolls which were not great. It was just some pork in a lot of pastry, not veggies or noodles. For mains we had beef and fried rice, it was the highlight of that dinner with a good portion size good beef and great taste. After the mains we ordered dessert however due to their lack of removing items from the table, the ants began to take over the table. Once the dessert arrived (Banana Flambé and crepe) the presentation was nice however the taste was taken away from the banana and crepe by the alcholic taste of rum which had not been cooked down. We ended up leaving the dessert and again in the staff's lack of attentiveness, the ants overwhelmed both the table and the plate.

Lack of customers service

Spent one night here in this beautiful little hotel. Rooms are simple but clean and the owners and staff provide excellent service. Gardens are very pretty and the bar is right on the ocean with views to the islands.
