Nice, quiet and comfortable, plenty of parking and food nearby too.

Just wanted to leave a note saying that,

Viktor the hotel manager definitely made the stay that much easier and comfortable.

Great manager who ensured my demands or requests were met with a polite courteous smile.

Staying away for work week in week out, it helps having a friendly face who provides excellent service.

No hairdryers in the room you have to get them from reception!  Difficult when you are soaking we from the shower and there is no phone in the room! 
Mold in the ridiculously small shower and the bed was almost broken, sagging and very squeaky every time I moved. 

Poorly maintained

although clean and well equipped, the beds and bathroom were not well thought out for a disabled / wheelchair bound person
access from the car to reception involved two awkward thresholds which I needed assistance with

Not good for disabled access/accommodation.

Room too hot, no towels and overlooked bins and an untidy courtyard where the security lights going on woke me up. 

Overpriced and under delivered

The staff were great and the room clean but the furniture was I. Poor condition. Like staying in a hostel for homeless people. 

Dilapidated furniture

We’ve stayed at this Travelodge before and know from experience that it’s quite basic but we’re very disappointed on this visit. We were initially allocated Room 4 on the ground floor adjacent to the attached pub’s outside seating area. The window with its net curtain was a couple of metres from the outside table and chairs giving no privacy. The room itself had nasty stains on the carpet, a desk which had seen better days and was generally in a state of disrepair. The lady on reception, when I requested a move, was extremely helpful and seemed to fully comprehend my concerns with only a minimal explanation. She kindly showed me a couple of other rooms which she could move us to. Neither of them were great but Room 16 looked the best of a bad bunch - at this point I should have inspected the room more carefully,  but didn’t regretfully otherwise I would have noticed the following:

The room looked cleaner at first. Probably as there were no stains on the carpet and the desk unit was of the more modern design. However, when we went to turn down the heating the heater was filthy.  Certainly hadn’t been cleaned in the recent past.

The bathroom was grubby. The toilet was an unpleasant yellow colour and the shower cubicle had signs of mould and hairs belonging to a previous guest. I wouldn’t have handled the toilet brush if you paid me. We had one decent bath towel and one that was almost see through (didn’t notice this until it was needed in the morning). 

The mattress was really uncomfortable. I’ve no idea where they buy them but would suggest they nip to Ikea, or better still use the same supplier as Premier Inn. Getting a good nights sleep is paramount.

When we checked out the supervisor asked us about our stay and we relayed our disappointment. She was absolutely lovely and a credit to the organisation. She did offer us an e-voucher as compensation but we stupidly declined - wish we hadn’t.

Professional, receptive, effective, responsive, friendly and a aware.

I was fortunate enough to stay here during a bathroom refurb.
All I required was a clean safe base of operations for my family and I, which was provided.
I was  fortunate enough to meet Victor and Meerhan, who (along with the other members of the team I encountered) are great ambassadors for the travel Lodge brand and deserve to be recognised as such.

I required a clean, safe accessible environment to start my families day.
That's what I got.

I checked in with a very friendly man Victor and on check out he was very attentive and interested in if I had a good stay and if I had any issues which he’d be happy to sort out.

Also when I left i realised I left my wallet and a lovely lady - I think her name was Kimra - came back to my room with me and helped me find it

Very nice hotel and staff

Stayed at the travelodge in Southgate as it’s convenient to get to places around north London. Very comfortable room. A little annoying that they only had family rooms available when I was on my own but the hotel was clean, I was happy with the location, and the staff were friendly!
In particular I want to mention Victor who was at reception, he was always polite and extremely helpful.

The lodge is in a nice quiet area with plenty of local amenities and a pub next door.rooms are comfortable and cleaned every day. The staff were amazing friendly and very accommodating especially Viktor, Elina and Kemar made me feel like I was home from home.
