I rate it 3* for the heater system and the bathroom. 
Stay here for 3 days and found it quite far from the center, its close by subway Sangbong station though. 
The breakfast is just a shame, no hot foods and you all in your own for breakfast (which mean you must clean up your table after finishing your bf) 
The matress quite hard and also the pillow. 
The bonus score come from the heater, it was -2 woth snow outside so it like a heaven when you comeback to the room. The temperature set up is excellent. The bathtub is a highlight with zacuzzi, not to mention the toilet. Super convenience and clean. 
For the price, I would say its fairly. 
Eventhough My stay there was ok, it has good point as I mentioned above but I will not choose this again or recommend to anyone. 
You better choose homestay service where nearer the center. 


Would not recommend 

Stayed there on Oct 15. Could not sleep all night because windows could not be shut. Mosquitoes everywhere. Very unfriendly staff especially for the receptionist. When I borrowed an adapter, and asked if i need to deposit, she did not even look at me and answered "now".  Definitely won't recommend this hotel.

Don't waste your money

Hardly slept as windows are loose and traffic noise is constant, no vaccuum cleaner anywhere to be seen with maid trolley, dirty cupboards, rings on the 2 cups given for coffee, no water given, shower partition hasn't been cleaned this century, dirty. The hotel is quite far away from the city center. The staffs are not kind any more and they don't speak English well.

This hotel is quite far away from the city center and it is not near any subway station. No free  WIFI and internet using is charged. By the way the hotel staff are nice and friendly even though they don't speak much English

Hotel in the middle of nowhere

The Holic Hotel markets itself as a 'tourist hotel' hence its attachment to various tourist groups and travel agencies... but its location and the look of its rooms still scream 'red light district motel' with all the connotations that implies.
The rooms are cheesy and overdecorated, and smelling faintly of cigarette smoke, which I truly hate... I had my wife and two kids, aged 5 and 7 with me in the room.  On the plus side the rooms were truly huge, had two desktop computers side by side (can be used for a very reasonable fee... but really would have preferred wifi instead), had a jacuzzi, and a toilet with one of those high tech seat-warmers.  However, the room also had flashing lights behind the bed, a surround sound system wired to both the TV and the computer (probably a plus) and also some sort of disco lighting in the toilet, which I had to explain to the kids.  
The location is in the middle of a red-light district which by night is littered with tiny picture cards advertising escort services, and a lot of drunks walking the streets.  Also a lot of restaurants and convenience stores around, and quite near to a subway station (around 400m). A major plus is the free coffee at the lobby.  Service was very quick, friendly and hassle free.
Overall however, I would not take my kids back there.
