We had the most wonderful experience here in 4Rooms Maribor. The place is unbelievable. All areas of the hostel are clean and everything is immaculately kept, the staff and the owners Gregor and Tina are extremely wonderful. 

The whole place is made up of 4 rooms, hence the name. It also includes a cute living room which serves as a great working spot and a chillout area … it basically has anything you can ask for. The whole place is airconditioned and regarding the location, it’s literally situated in the heart of the city. Definitely, the best choice when visiting Maribor!

Amazing hostel at the heart of Maribor

This seriously has to be one of the best hostels we've ever stayed at! ❤️ The rooms are clean, the restrooms and shower areas are spotless, the common areas feel so cosy and the location... wow! You can’t beat that. 

It's right in the centre of city, and you’ll literally be thrown in the most popular street in Maribor as soon as you go out of the hostel. But despite having such a central location, we still couldn’t hear any kind of noise or music from the streets. 

We can’t forget to mention the owners! Gregor and Tina are so lovely! We couldn’t have asked for better hosts – they made us feel as if we were at home away from home, they’re super helpful and friendly and they always helped us with a smile and no hesitation. Some of the nicest people we've ever encountered. Thank you, guys. We will surely be back!

Loved it! We had an absolutely amazing experience!

The worst hostel I stayed at. Had to check out at midnight since we found bed bugs in the bed. The owner didn’t seem to know what bed bugs were, so probably he won’t do anything about the problem. He got hostile when we addressed it and didn’t give us all the money back for the night. Had to go out and find a new hotel in the middle of the night. Do not book...!

WARNING

It really is just 4 rooms in the heart of the old town. The rooms are small, but the bed is comfortable and there is a desk to work on. No view - the rooms look out into a parking lot. There was one shower and two bathrooms in the building, but we never had to wait and they were clean. 

Check in was somewhat confusing - the door was open so we walked in. The housekeeper called the owner who said we could leave our bags but we should come back at one to check in. When we came back the door was again open so we walked in but no one was there. 15 minutes later the owner arrived seeming confused as to how we got in the building. When we booked it wasn't clear, but make sure to communicate a check-in time so someone can meet you there as there are normally no staff members on-site.

The location is on the same street as many bars and restaurants, but the rooms are set far back enough to be quite. I would stay there again.

Small but comfortable rooms in a great location.

The rooms are small but functional. The parking right behind the rooms is very bright during the night and sometimes noisy. 
The room was too warm for sleep and the bed was not very comfortable. 
The 4Rooms is lockte in the middle of the city life.
The complete facility looks quite modern but in the shower you can find a little bit of mould.
I think it is too expensive. 

Central and modern with drawbags

Our room was looking out on a parking lot and had no curtains at all. It was so bright, I could not sleep all night and also it was quite noisy.
The accoustics of the place make it impossible to talk without waking people up. It is quite annoying to have 4 double rooms and just one bathroom.
Also the accomodation was not fine. A staircase without railing? Very fine with me vertigo.
Quequeing for the bathroom, which is only one for up to 8 people. You can tell somebody is there, since the entire building can hear the water flow.
The only good thing is that the place is clean and the owner friendly, but I would recommand to bring ear plugs and eye patches with you, if you are a bad sleeper like I am.

No sleep, no privacy

Very good quality price ratio It is located in the middle of an old neighborhood on a pedestrian street with lots of atmosphere The accommodation is clean but has a single toilet for all its rooms but it is worth the price.

A good relationship

A small set of four rooms with a shared bathroom and toilet. The design is minimal and quite slick and the location is excellent. The only downsides is that the window blinds let a lot of light through and hence woke us very early. Also the bathroom is slightly exposed as it has a smoked glass wall which you can see partly through. 

Functional but bright in morning

We stayed at 4Rooms for a week and we really enjoyed it. Its a nice, clean, quiet place right to the city center. The owner was really friendly and helpful. It is highly recommended when visiting Maribor.

Great location and value for money

I found this hostel via internet, I needed the room for one night. But the booking phase, confirmation, price, even the location of the hostel is optimal, the bathroom is shared with four other rooms well a little less satisfied but I can't say anything. The owner proved very available since check-in is done after 13:00 I arrived at 11:00 and I just wanted to put my things away. He arrived right away, he had us accommodated, the danger of where we would find anything, keys, account, when to check-out, we would like to sit down. Even the room inside was furnished, modern, quiet. I mean for one night it's very well worth it, even three! What I should have said very angry was the arrival of four gentlemen/guests on the highway that I could have had to sleep in front of the doors already occupied, so maybe after this one night, no one has done it, but I think I can't do anything with the restroom, but I have to say, yes, I can't do anything with the restroom, so I can't get into the room, and I can'
