The place is atypical but the rooms are pretty old, the ocean view is great and the dining is fine, the staff is very friendly, it's pretty noisy at night, it's a shame it could really be top with a little renovation.

Damage to the potential

The spectacular and magical site, very cozy and pleasant. Very expensive price for the conditions: the ghost was rotten, the mattresses were very hard, the air conditioning stopped working and it took a long time to fix it, the time to pay was very bad, and in the hotel the change you get from Euros to Cfa is very bad, 635 when it is normally 670 cfa, I would wonder if it really is worth it for the price it has. The man at the reception, Assane is quite kind. Too touristically focused, here you won't find the true spirit of Senegal or the Teranga. The place is very good, but the price is too expensive for the quality of service. The Terie was cassette, the tubes and the price for a Cfa NUL were always nice, they usually pay 635 euros, and the sales of the Cfa are not as good as it is in Senegal.

A Dishonest Servant

Disappointment/scam/to avoid Hello, A real scam, our bed is full of chips and as hard as granite and the unsanitary room! Passable food is very expensive, the waiters will try to repeatedly inflate the bill. It is better to eat at the beachfront restaurant... As for the beach across the street, we are without comment... dirty and notorious. Place to run away!!!!

We came to this hotel as a family, on the advice of the guides of the routard 2022! The hotel is atypical and peaceful especially in this winter period! We were offered two rooms next to the garden... one the climate was dripping, the second the humidity and the climate was making a lot of noise... we were then offered another room whose walls were completely moist! We then decided to leave and lose our 2 nights of reservations... At the reception we were offered a new room with a typical ocean bathroom and not feeling the humidity... approximate accommodation and a terraced beaches: however, by closing the terrace to the beach, we also had to get a safe place... because we had to get rid of the hotel... but we had to clean up the rooms, and we could not get a good night's rest and enjoy the good night's rest, so we had to have a good night's rest and enjoy a good night's rest and enjoy a good night's sleep in front of the beaches.

It's such a disappointment!

I enjoyed my stay in Sobo Bade.  

I chose this hotel based on it's proximity to the Airport and it's beachfront location.   It didn't disappoint. 

It's artsy and quirky in a beautiful location. 

The rooms are on the smallish side, but the outdoors and public areas make up for that.

The dining ate is also very nice, and the food is good.

One of the most absurdly beautiful places we have ever been ! Unspoilt beaches , friendly staff , cool cats , chilled vibes . Lovely food .  Will be coming back for sure rooms were clean , linen clean , staff on hand if anything needed.

Beautiful and wonderful

The decor of the hotel is very interesting and artsy and the view overlooking the ocean is beautiful however that's where the niceties end. Our biggest issue with the hotel was the bed bug infestation. 3 members of our group woke up with numerous bed bug bites. We reported this to the management who at first claimed that they were mosquito bites and then offered to just change the sheets. We turned down the new sheets and requested new rooms. Later that night bed bugs were spotted in one of the new rooms so we tripled up in a different room for the night. When we reported this to the manager, he laughed.  Along with bed bugs, the service at the on site restaurant is inordinately slow. We ordered spaghetti for dinner and the meal took almost a hour and a half to arrive. The restaurants down on the beach front provide more timely service.

We had to spend 5 nights in this hotel feet in the water (which will soon be little eaten by the rise of the sea) in short....Everything started well, proper room with sea view, good welcome etc... the reservation had been made 2 days before by this and we had agreed on a half-board fare. When we arrived by taxi, we discovered an isolated and difficult to access hotel. Discovering places: nice view, small beach very badly famed and very restaurant! We are confirmed 2 times the 4x4 ordered the day before to be independent in our travels. The next morning, surprise...The car is here but it is a berlin with a demand for a cheating and tax-free fare, then the final solution is to get the book, where we are about to collect the price of the car, which seems to have been taken in a very good way.
