I stayed for a day, the hostel liked the cleanliness, the compactness and the convenient location (two minutes' walk to the bus stop). There is a balcony, good shower water pressure, comfortable beds, great wifi. It's quiet enough, the staff is wonderful -- they let me in after midnight, they took a little tour. The hostel has a very relaxed atmosphere, it's small and it's in the neighborhood of private houses, so it looks like you're visiting a friendly host. I don't think it's a place for a party, although I was only there for one day.

A cozy place with a pleasant atmosphere

For the price, I cannot complain.
Apparently they have upgraded the rooms and bathrooms. Location is walking distance to city centre and nearer to train station thou is not that far away. Perhaps management can look at putting lighting Infront of hostel to brighten the area as it is  very dark  at night due to hostel is located in a really local kinda ghetto neighborhood.
I would recommend if you are on tight budget.

Very friendly staff.
It's in the city centre ,but still quite . 
A big supermarket 2 minutes walk .
Beds were comfortable and no snooring guests😁 ,which made my stay super nice.

Cozy

A very friendly hostel on the edge of Chisinau centre (near Hotel Chisinau) and at a good price. Nice atmosphere and secure door system. We were lucky to stay in the private double room, which was of extra good value. Would definitely stay here if we return to Chisinau. 

Friendly, cheap and great location

Location is excellent - about 15-20 minute walk from the Chisinau train station. The hostel wasnt too difficult to find during the day, but maybe if you're coming at night it might be a bit difficult.. look for the gray gate with small word "chill" written in yellow.

There is a bus stop going to the airport on Strada Ismail (no. 165 bus). It is frequent and really cheap - 3 leis. Just near by there is a kebab store called Star Kebab, not too bad.

There is a department store opposite the bus stop with a food court apparently, I didn't make it there. 

For groceries, head down in the opposite direction.. after passing by 3 streets you will see NR.1 hypermarket sign. It's big and has everything. They do take credit cards also - was difficult finding this out as no one spoke English. 

Staff - two staff working there when I stayed there. Both Victoria and Alex were friendly and helpful - giving me directions to the supermarket, places to eat and sights to visit in Chisinau. Alex even gave me a written price and description for the wineries near by. Both spoke excellent English, and even a bit of Japanese. Victoria can speak in Italian as well as maybe a bit of French and German? 

Although I haven't stayed in other hostels due to the location, I recommend chill hostels for few days just to chill :)

Great location and helpful staff

Directions to find it from airport were fine. Not very impressed with Street (seems quite dodgy at night as street lights weren't working/on). I arrived earlier than check in but was able to leave my bag (not very securely - just under the stairs in entrance lobby/kitchen). Staff were ok from limited interaction. Bedroom was clean, bed comfy, small lockable cupboard provided. No reading light (just main light in room). Communal Bathroom I think was for everyone! It also housed washing machine and dryer so doubled as a utility room. It was a bit musty smelling and a bit grim. Location just off Main Street was fine. For the very cheap price (about £5-6 a night) it was acceptable 

Ok for a cheap short stay

The hotel has a comfortable atmosphere, Wi-Fi and a computer with internet access, a kitchen, dishes and a bakery for eating, a separate cupboard with a private key for storing valuables, a key to the entrance door, clean laundry and a comfortable bed, a good price and quality ratio. The hotel is conveniently located in the city center near the Izmail Street.

It's a good place.

Despite the conflicting reviews on the internet, the hostel was very pleased. Ideal for overnight travel through Chisinau. Located minutes from the center, behind Izmaylovsky Avenue, it is easy to find the hostel (at the door is a huge indicator of house No. 52). Despite arriving late at 2 p.m., he got a comfortable bed in an empty 4-seat room (though he originally booked the cheapest bed in a 10-seat one).

It's a good hostel.

Even on the main street of Chisinau, Stefan Chel Mare street, almost no one. We go on Google Maps to some dark unlit backyard and - oh wonder! - we quickly find the right gray gates and end up in a quiet yard. The word reception on the nearest door indicates that it is a hostel.

It's a fun place.

The staff is quite friendly, located near the attractions, the train station and bus station are easily accessible on foot. The downsides: difficult to find, especially at night; there was no hot water (at least in one of the two showers), not super clean.
