The location is perfect. Quiet but at the same time within walking distance of everything you may need in Coyoacán. The beautiful building is very well maintained and very cozy. The front garden is beautiful and relaxing. The rooms make you feel at home, are beautiful and have everything you need. Like the hostel itself, they are decorated with beautiful Mexican art. The atmosphere is very pleasant, the personalized attention and very kind. I recommend it for all purposes.

The hostel is the best place to stay in Colonia Del Carmen, Coyoacán.

Had planned on going to Casa de Frida so this was the best location, on top of the fact that The Coyoacan distract is beautiful to walk around in and very safe! A great cafe around the corner, everyday is a different breakfast at the hostel and there is a night rooftop terrace to hang out on when you're not exploring the city.

Ideal location, great breakfast, friendly staff

This little hostal was very clean and comfortable and offers a free delicious breakfast that will fill you up nicely. The location is walking distance to el Centro and in the evening you can sit on their rooftop patio and enjoy the cool breeze.

A cute and comfortable Hostal

An excellent place to stay: a simple, but clean and tidy room, private bathroom, and above all, excellent care from Miss Tere, who cares that everything is fine.A very good location, as you can walk to the Coyoacan Square or the Frida Kahlo Museum.

Hospitality is first of all.

I spent 6 days in Cuija and am delighted with the facilities, the food, the price and above all the attention.Luis, Javi, Laura and José are an exceptional team, they made me feel at home.Their kindness and hospitality are endless.I recommend this accommodation to enjoy a pleasant experience in the most beautiful neighborhood of CDMX.

Best quality price in Coyo

Without hesitation, if you are looking for a nice, well-placed, friendly place to sleep in Coyoacan, feel free to go to this hostel. The staff is adorable, terraces are waiting for you for the appetizer, you can cook yourself up, and breakfast is included (even if you have to enjoy eating like it's daytime!) but you can also ask for toasts and tea.

If you're staying in this hostel, think well, if you book, consider that the final price is more VAT than the one that marks the page. The staff is nice, but I can hear you on more than one occasion talking badly and complaining about the very staff that works there and the worst of all: other guests (no matter if a guest is present). When we arrived they gave us a room too small, cold, and the bathroom in poor condition, the laundry was also falling down and drying out. If the notifier told us they changed us much better.

Regular and personal installations without experience.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating.  Location was an easy walk to the center of Coyoacán.  Private room was basic, as expected.  Private shower/toilet.  Breakfast included.  It was particularly cold during my visit to Mexico City and, like most of the rooms I stayed in, this one had no heat, so it was pretty chilly in the room.  Didn't get a chance to hang out on the rooftop patio, but it looked nice.

Quiet hostel, nice part of town

El Cuija is really very well located. Very close to the Blue House of Frida Kahlo, which is the tourist highlight in Coyoacán, close to the market and the Zócalo. The place is pleasant to stay: a comfortable living room, shower with hot water, access to computers with Internet, quiet at night and very pleasant people for attention. I would recommend them perhaps to improve the quality of the breakfasts. And what we liked most, the kindness and sympathy of Luis, always willing to talk, to give directions, always with a smile. Recommended place.

A very nice place in Coyoacan.

In a safe, walkable neighbourhood close to the park/metro. Friendly staff, clean rooms, great rooftop patio, breakfast included.Very close to the Frida Kahlo museum and an easy walk to the central plazas.
