Cottage by the sea or not far away. Very well equipped with air conditioning and wifi. large and comfortable. The staff is lovely and welcoming. With a small restaurant the best on the island the cuisine is excellent and the people at the top

Super cottage.

I just came back from Tioman Island and stayed 4 nights in the Tioman House Bungalows. The room was conveniently located next to B&J Diving Centre where I was diving, had hot water for the shower and A/C. The room was basic but had everything I needed including a small refrigerator facilities for coffee. There is also a small café which served very good food and was reasonably priced. The Tioman House Bungalows is very good value for the money. I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend them.

Tioman House

We stayed at flat 7 which is straight up from the restaurant on the beach. Both the flats and the restaurant is run by a very friendly family, who gave several good advice and tried to help out with all needs. The room was big, clean with an over average bathroom. The AC war powerful but quite enough to leave it on during the night.

The place is cosy, and with basic amenities, 
It is very comfortable and suitable for family trip. 
The owner have manage the place for the last eight year or so, (if my memory serve me well).  He's a good cook too, and he owned the coffee shop that is attach to the reception office.  I do enjoy the food very much... 
will stay again if i visit tioman again.

Simple & Clean

Hi,  We stayed at THB for 10 nights in late September/early October.  The chalets are large with good facilities.  The air con works well, the fridge is very welcome - especially as breakfast at local cafes often starts at 10am.  We bought cornflakes and milk from local shop and used fridge.

Bathroom is large and hot shower was welcome.  The balcony is large with good drying area - welcome by divers.

The bed and pillows were too firm for our liking but standard in this part of the world.  

Wedged between B&J Diving and Blue Heaven Diving.  Short walk from jetty but owner will take your luggage if you ask in advance.

There is free internet but the signal is very poor and you have to go to reception to get it to work.

Probably one of best rooms in area.

Don't expect much in way of food on ABC.  Locals don't seem interested.  Fridays are particularly difficult as they close up and go to the mosque.  The Hijan (?) restaurant has the best food.

Good facilities

To set the record right, Tioman House will be great for non divers as well. I was a solo diver traveler and it's 2 meters beside B&J Dive Center at ABC Village. It's a family run place with about 9-10 chalets. When one says Dive, Eat, Sleep - Tioman House is the place for "Eat, Sleep"!. 
I'll like to thank the family for taking care of me over the weekend of 21-23 October and was allocated Bungalow No. 5. They have many pet cats who are part of the family and some of them hung around my bungalow to welcome and keep me company in between dives. Load of space to wash and dry your dive gear and everything was in good working condition. The bosses operate a cafe at the beach front and they have damn good nasi goreng and mee goreng mamak (padas!) 
Thank you for the comfortable place and yummy food!

Good place to stay for divers

It was a pleasant stay here with my family. Friendly and hospitable people manning this place. Beautiful cozy comfortable room overseeing the beach. Restaurants are just a walking distance. Even the beach is just a stone's throw away.

Beautiful place!

Our bungalow on the first floor facing the sea, well located in Air Batang, was simple but large, comfortable and very cool thanks to air conditioning and ventilator. The place is quiet, close to small Restos and shops. We especially appreciated the sympathy and availability of our host Azizan, who was always attentive and was good advice especially for walking.

I'm just saying, all right!

The rooms are spacious and each has its own terrace, the climate works perfectly and the towels are provided, so you just have to put the beers (duty free in Tioman) in the mini fridge and enjoy your little piece of quiet garden after a day of diving!

Big bungalows in peace

I was staying at Tioman House, because I was diving with B&J, and this was the option that the dive center offered me. A spacious room with air conditioning and a large bathroom, hot water, clean bedding and towels. It was a little noisy at night, because the bungalow was on the front line of the road. There are several restaurants, shops, and the dive center is across the road. The most important thing was the owner's attitude towards the guests. So it happened that I had to get to the clinic - on this side of the island I only had two options - walking through the hill or on the boat.
