We spent here a spring short vacarion with our 8 yo daughter.
Appartment we got was quite ok, no luxary but all functional. Building is nice and clean. Location of thw building was very good - it is in the pedestrian area and metro is very close, a lot of markets and caffes arround, and at the one end of the pedestrian is a small mall. For the visiting Budapast it was great.

Nice room in Budapest for 2 persons, it was very warm, extremely hot water, the room was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Good location, close to shops, restaurants and a mall. Easy access, quiet location, and, since the streets are quite small and narrow, we also opted a parking place in the inside covered parking.

Pleasant stay in Budapest

We booked (2 families of 3 people each) a deluxe apartment each and paid a high price for Budapest standards. We did not mind, as long as we were to be in the same building and have our children comfortable. We had made that clear in advance.

We were two blocks apart. The receptionist said that there was nothing he could do about it.

Moving on. We arrive to our apartments and only one of us had a balcony as we asked and paid for. But that was the least. There was rubbish from previous visitors, urin stains on the toilet, hair everywhere (in sheets, kitchen drawers, even the fridge)

Beds were as thick as yoga mats and definitely had seen better days. 
The most dramatic of all was the towels. We got 3 full sized towels only. On the 3rd day we called and asked if we could have them changed, the reception replied that there were no more towels available! 
We never got any cleaning service. We went to reception (in another building) and got a fresh set on the 4th day. Still no smaller face towels. So one towel, each resident for the whole stay. That's it. You can wipe your face in the morning with the same towel you wiped your privates. 
Very unfair for the high price we paid. We could have gotten a hotel room for that.

Ruined our Holiday

A nice apartment in a building that allows us to enter through different locations depending on where we're going, and I thought a change of towels would have been helpful.

The holiday nest...

This place is not like they promote it online. Photos are fake and the real state is completely different! Broken, and dirty, the staff are rude and you have for the same money better accommodation in Budapest. Go far away from these accommodations! When you make a claim to Agoda where I booked, they receive tons of emails from you and suggest you check out!?!?! With no refund, or changing accommodation at their cost!

Very bad experience

We had a one bedroom apartment with a large sofa bed in the lounge.
Bathroom is large with a washing machine, bath and shower. Kitchen is sufficient. 
Our apartment was clean and we had to pay a cleaning charge when checking in. We had not been advised of this by Easyjet when booking. 
The apartments have a Lidl next door which is useful, restaurants and a shopping centre. 
It's about a 15 minute walk to the airport bus and other transport links. 
It was really difficult to get into the building to check in. Better instructions are required. Reception is on 2nd floor. 
As this is a residential block, I could hear people coming and go from early in the morning. I'm guessing to work.

Arrived at hotel which I found hard to get into as you need a code to get into the building and reception was not on the first floor. Finally got into the building ( someone else coming out let us in) and had to ask someone else where we go to check in as no sign posts to say where it was. Got into the lift and went to the second floor where this lady advised us to Check in. Reception rude, we was 5 hours early to check in (which we was not aware of as easy jet did not inform us!!) room was ok, charged extra for air con and cleaning but we did not received any cleaning throughout our stay ( no new towels or Change of bedding) so not sure what we actually paid for! Had to leave 70€ deposits down for any damage but was informed we would received this back after 3 days of leaving the hotel. Sofa bed had stains on and bed was very hard. No English tv! In the pictures it say this hotel has swimming pool and spa but when we asked reception he said they did not have a swimming pool and if we wanted to go to one we must go To the thermal baths!  Also if you want to be able to sleep do not stay at this hotel, noisy all night with slamming doors and banging. Got very annoyed with being woken up nearly every hour! These apartment are not only for holiday tourist  but also students. No reception after midnight so could not complaint about the noise level, in fact the noise got worse throughout the night/morning. 


Student apartments/ hidden costs/ rude staff 

We stayed there for 9 days, the lack of hygiene was clearly felt. There were stains on the curtains, on the lamp shade, there were residues on the dishes, a lot of dust under the bed and on the bedside full of stains like splashes. The bed is uncomfortable, the mattress is hard and not thick.

Location is fantastic for access to public transport however the rooms were cleanish if you didn't look too hard (stained sofa) , the receptionist was hardly bothered to speak with us and commented he didn't understand our questions such as tourist spots ect. We were told we was early ( 1pm) and would not be granted a Room before 4pm. Cleaning charges and deposit of 80€ taken by card €70 would be refunded 3days after Check out (fingers crossed) for this we did not have clean towels or a cleaned room!!
Beds were hard but shower nice and plenty of hot water. Don't think I would stay here again.

Hidden charges & student accomodation

At first time you think everything are fine , but when you’ll open your eyes more close ... 
I was shocked , when arrived . This is not terrible, it’s disgusting!!! And we paid for that cleaning . 
It’s not my imagine , you can see everything on the picture! And this is just part of that “clean apartment” .
