The hotel has been closed for health reasons for the past two years, and now it's a home for African women, so it's a temporary guarantee, so there's no need to book a place.

Final closure

The hotel is quite well situated, the hospitality and hygiene leaves much to be desired. We are rather pleased with our stay but there are still points to improve such as the cleanliness of the bathroom and the shower joints.

Doubting Cleanliness

The very old hotel, breakfast to forget, very small rooms that know of mold... We spent two days (happily only 2) in a really nightmare. The very old room, the broken bathroom door that didn't close and a lightning flashlight. When the lightning flashed at the reception, the doorman took the keys to a room and signaled to follow him. Obviously he wanted to remove the lightning from another room to give it to us. When we got to the room he opened the door and we found a man who had started cursing... (It might be a joke but I assure you it's not).

It's a nightmare!

Reception: - A smell of sweating from the reception. - A guy talking in his beard gives us our keys while barely looking at us. The room: - A smell of locked up mixed with insecticide jumps in our noses as soon as we open the door! The stained and dusty carpet, the sheets covered with yellow spots, the bedside table stuffed with ants... Toilets - covered with yellow slices (maybe limestone I don't understand) Shower - The moulds are filled with moulds. A CATASTROP We are immediately returned to the reception for a stay.

Unhealing

Hotel a bit old. The kind but no more welcome, the problem with the bedding (fine mattresses) and the charming bed bugs that kept me company.

can do better

Having frequented this hotel regularly between 2008 and 2012 and having been rather satisfied, I returned in June 2015.....catastrophe....hot, not clean, limited reception, forget (I imagine) to return the TV remote control....It is clear, I would not put my foot in it again.

That's terrible.

I chose this hotel for two reasons: 1) close to my house, good for staying 3 days my parents came to visit me here in Paris, 2) Good price for a double for 3 nights. The gentleman at the receiver desk, a little old hotel, there was no good smell, lots of spacious rooms with not very neat walls, furniture a little corrosive, 60s style bed not very comfortable, on 4 clean lamps in the room, 2 of them, the bathroom was big and functional but here too something was wrong, the bathroom window in that room was without a tent with front windows, my mother put the pillows to the window to have a little privacy in the bathroom, the curtains were put in the closet all broken.

There's better in the area.

..I stayed here with my gorgeous girlfriend during the Christmas season, I must say the first impression was not a little good letting go, but in the end we spent our days in the best way. It is in a very comfortable place with pubs nearby, 3 metro lines, the rooms are warm and clean. Maybe they are not beautiful aesthetically, it feels a little outdoors but for what I am looking for during a trip to a city is more than good! The price was not even high!

Whoever is content enjoys

This review sounds like a joke, but unfortunately it's not. My boyfriend and I decided to make a little bit of a joke about the whole thing, especially for a seven-night stay. The whole thing is old, pretty, a little confusing. We chose this hotel for two reasons: first, because booking.com assigns to none Royal Bel Air mistakenly photos of another hotel with a similar name (primarily, by comparison), which got us fooled, secondly because the price was at least decent.

Never again!

The hotel is located in an ideal area for travel but also to have all kinds of services, pubs, restaurants, supermarkets, bakeries, bars and everything else that can be served even choosing how much to spend.
