First of all, the hotel is located in a rather dangerous area of Paris, it is true that it is close to the subway but it is not recommended to take the subway at night. The hotel is under construction and the entire staircase is in ruins. In addition, we were not warned of the time when we had to close the room and when we arrived we had taken all our belongings out of the room, without even making a call. VERGONZOSO In short, NOTHING is recommended.

The hotel has no elevator, so you have to walk to the room with the luggage loaded, which is also not an obstacle if you are not someone good at least older... I recommend it for young couples and friends. On the other hand, the location was what we liked best, we arrived by metro which is next to the hotel, about 20 minutes from the city center. Very practical. The area may be dangerous, but not if we take care to repeat. We did not have any problem, we always tried to offer some good protection and money and never went to the hotel. The hotel's bathroom in the area was in the basement. Since the hotel was dismantled and the hotel was open, we have been able to get to the hotel, and the hotel is very convenient for the first two days, but we have no luck in the day.

It's been good.

My rating may have been different had I been staying for more than one night. However, I wanted somewhere cheap for the night, so I can't really complain.

The location is excellent in terms of being close to the metro, Sacre Coeur and Montmatre. I can understand some other reviewers concerns about the locale but given how little time I spent in the area and the proximity to the metro, I don't think it's too big an issue.

My room was very basic with a bed and shower. Toilets are located on the stairs, which was tricky on my visit as they were undergoing refurbishment, so privacy was at a bit of a minimum. The room wasn't the cleanest and the heating was really weird.

However, it served it's purpose as somewhere to rest my head for one night

myself and husband where dumbfounded when we arrived at Barbes metro it was surrounded by 40-50 males extremely intimidating. You have to watch out for pick picketers all of the time day and night . Police are excellent when around. Mattresses on street floor for days.
