We ended up in this hotel a little by chance but the chance really did the right thing! Small quiet hotel, big room - with a living room corner - great little dejueuner took a small room in the basement. Highly recommended!

It's a quiet little hotel.

It really looks more like a hostel, no furniture, no dining room recommended, we had to say that the room was made for us, we only had breakfast one day, it was better to do it outside, it has no cafeteria or services, it looks like a dead end, I don't recommend it at all.

No is a hotel.

The word is disappointing, I doubt if it is really a hotel, we were the only foreigners staying, the rest were indigenous, we had to say that they would make our room, on the second day we would have breakfast outside, generally not recommended, I insist that it does not look like a hotel, but a boarding house or low-class hostel.

but well it is a hostel

The hotel is located in a good area of Praha 2 (you can walk to the centre). Nearby is a beautiful park, the magnificent church of St. Lyudmila - there are places in the district to stroll. I can't say anything bad about breakfast.

Ordinary hotel with good location

First of all, don't be mistaken. If you travel by car, the hotel advertises to have its own car park. It's completely untrue. They just offer you a leaflet with the name of an underground they recommend (about 400 meters away), although they did not mention that when we were booking it. As a result, being certain the parking space in front of the hotel was reserved for the guests, I parked there for just 10 minutes, to reveive a ticket from the city police as it turned out, the spaces do not belong to the hotel. What is more, the lady at the reception did not inform me of the fact, but I felt there was something wrong and asked her about it, and only then did she tell me that they do not have the parking space around the hotel so I had to re-park my car ( to the underground place the recommended - they charged me 20 Euro per day as far as I remember). I wonder what you are supposed to do if you have heavy bags to carry from your car? Possibly hire a taxi from the car park to the hotel?
HORRIBLE.
Rooms were quite clean, TV only Czech channels, I had to pay a deposit - I don't even remember what for. The whole hotel looks like one big tenement house with a tiny reception desk.

Disappointed

A group of 4 of us stayed in Chodska a few years ago.  Everything seemed OK until check out.  They charged us the equivalent of £150 for a broken shower screen which their cleaner wrecked and refused to release our passports (we'd foolishly placed them in their safety deposit box for safekeeping).  As we had a flight to catch we just had to pay up and take it.  Reading the other reviews on this site there does seem to be a trend here of Chodska making up spurrious charges.  Avoid this place at all costs.

The people who works there attend very well the guest, but they are not there all the time.

The bathrooms are unclean and the rooms have a strang smell.

I didn't like it

We stayed here for three nights on the beginning of a trip around this part of Europe. It is about fifteen minutes walk down hill to Wenceslas Square.  We stayed in a room which had four beds for the four of us, the breakfast was just typical eastern European, just average.

The hotel itself was in a building that had obviously been converted like so many others in Prague to either an hotel or apartments for tourists. Whenever I am in eastern Europe especially Prague (despite its appeal to mass tourism), I only expect standard accomodation, although I have stayed at some really nice hotels in eastern Europe.

At the time we stayed there, the hotel was pretty cheap, I like Prague a lot  and have passed through it and stayed there many times, but accomodation wise ,as long as I can get a good nights sleep in a clean bed, thats suits me for this City.

An average hotel in Prague

We have organized a four-day trip to Prague exactly 20 years after we first visited, we are a group of 11 people, all friends. This hotel has proved to be a great choice, spacious rooms, clean, not central but very convenient in the subway and well served by the trams.

Good value for money

I just got back last night, took 24 people on a group trip, so we do it every year!!!! What an experience, none of it is good! The most unfriendly, ugliest staff there ever was!! We had to laugh at our experiences, but to be honest, if they could only smile or at least not have dark eyes; arrival: two stairs to a hallway, no baggage collection, charge $30 per room as a deposit, remember, we were older people who paid in advance - as a tour guide, this was very painful! Have we paid our money to go up a staircase to the top of the lobby, but then there is another half-staircase to go up a staircase with your room, and then there is another half-staircase to go up a staircase to the top of the lobby... It cost $25 to go up a staircase... but if you don't want to go up a room, we're ready to pay in advance, and if you don't want to go up a staircase, you can't have to go up to the top of the lobby... but if you want to
