Excellent hotel! Extremely beautiful decoration! Far from the big cold hotels Clean and spacious rooms Lunch is delicious and delicious The reception in Bogdan is really great! It's really worth a visit if you're in this corner of Bulgaria!

Hotel to recommend

I stayed at Villa di Poletta for one night on my business trip and was pleasently surprised by the outstanding service, cozy and warm room and the great food in the restaurant. It is on a walking distance to the center of Dobrich and very convinient, providing free breakfast and parking. I highly reccommend it for your stay in town. 

Welcoming atmosphere 

I didn't stay at the Hotel, but I had lunch with my wife in the restaurant. The cuisine, although not really Italian, was pleasant anyway. Lemon shrimp, lasagna and risotto were well prepared and accompanied by a good Bulgarian Sauvignon Blanc. Last but not least, the account is really within everyone's reach.

Not exactly an Italian restaurant, but nice.

Because of the reviews, we went to this restaurant. When we asked if we could sit on the terrace, we were told that there was no more table available. When we were going to sit inside, we saw two tables outside, but we were there and they were not reserved. When the waiter was still not there after five minutes, I went back inside and asked for the menu card. He insisted on bringing them himself, which then took another five minutes. We wanted the five-grain risotto and the salad figure. After he took the order, he came back two minutes later to say that both dishes were not available. We ordered no gluten-free pasta, which came right, even though the pickups were not easy. It was not all right, but the cheese and the toffee were not all available in the restaurant, but the toffee was very tasty.

Less impressive

Despite picturesque photos online, this hotel is located on a dusty, noisy intersection. The furniture is so old it's creepy. There were ants crawling in the bathroom sink. The amenities were just sample packets of shampoo and such. There was one person working both the hotel and the restaurant, and he was nowhere to be found. We ended up leaving without even unpacking, and paid the last-minute cancellation penalty rather than spend the night there. Sorry, I didn't take any photos, because we had friends waiting for us and had to move fast.

We just happened to be staying in the city and decided to stay at this hotel... very friendly staff! We went down to an Italian restaurant for dinner.

The best pizza is four cheeses!

I will tell you about restaurant.It is something different, small itallian restaurant with cosy tabels. I tryed lunch menu, food is tasty and well pripared. Staff is  helpful and polite but little bit familiar.

Villa di poletta-the restaurant

Have eaten at this restaurant many times over the years as we have a house nearby. The restaurant is quiet and cosy. The food is reasonable quality. However the service is lacking. We weren’t greeted when entering the restaurant plus they brought my wife’s main dish with her starter so we asked them to take it back. Side orders to go with mains also arrived with starters when we had asked for them to come out together. Disappointed with this visit but would return. With new restaurants opening in Dobrich some of them have to up their game with customer service.

Cosy but service needs improving 

Didn’t give it 5* just because (of course) there could be some improvements made.
I would definitely say it is good Value for money though. Being only 2* hotel it is very good. 
Only thing I didn’t like was the lighting in the bathroom.. very dark. 

Sheets were not changed whilst the 3day stay but bed made up every day.

Heating was great even too warm. 

Got upgraded to a double room instead of a single which was nice 
Staff were friendly.
Although on a very busy street and close to  main road there is not much noise.

Definitely recommend it and would prefer it anytime to the big hotels nearby. 

Hometown visit 

Excellent place to stay in Dobrich. The rooms were very clean and tidy. I would definitely stay here again.  The Italian restaurant serves a variety of foods. This is an excellent place to eat be it lunch or evening meal. You won't be disappointed.
