I was impressed by the lack of cleanliness and order since arriving at the reception, a small mattress that looks like a pet and a bunch of neat sheets, a piece with a bag to maintain its facilities, sleek sheets, hard towels, an extremely thin mattress on an American bed base (very hard), the entrance door to an outdoor hallway with a 3 cm floor opening.

The worst place I've ever been

Home warm and very good family food. Menu Entry: 1 plate of garlic and butter kale for two. A plate of squid and a plate of grilled sardines accompanied by traditional water-based potatoes. And in the desert a good portion of white melon, very sweet. The white house's reserve is delicious. And finally the cherry on the cake: the little old wine with the addition... Very good quality/price ratio, we recommend. Good appetite!

Excellent quality to price ratio

They grabbed all my belongings and changed my room without permission and along the way they lost my toiletries. They put me in a room that was NOT crowded and air-conditioned about an inch from my bed. I had to change my room at midnight and couldn't sleep anymore. The next day they told me they would give me a room that was all right, but when I returned after a long walk they told me I had to get out of there because the room was booked. I was annoyed, they returned my money from the last night.

Special attention and organization.

It's a very friendly and comfortable place, with good care, and despite being in the center it's quiet. Hostel recommended for a good vacation in the magnificent countryside.

Beautiful and ubiquitous.

The Hostel Rosas dos Ventos is run by two lovely, fantastic young women, full of good energy and a great staff. The atmosphere is young and simple. People who stay there are, for the most, backpacking through Brazil. If you’re interested in cultural exchange, it’s the place to be ! And also, it’s gay-friendly and very open minded !

Breakfast is served with good coffee, sweet or savory tartines, typical Brazilian homemade cakes and jam. Last but not least, there are delicious fresh fruits. Also, you can use or share the kitchen with others if you would like to cook dinner. 

The couple bedroom had a private bathroom and a very comfortable bedding. Every morning, the room was cleaned and the bed was remade by employees. 

The Hostel is located close to the harbour with its embarcation, good restaurants, while staying away from the tourist area which sometimes can get noisy and crowded. The beaches are less than 10 to 15 minutes away by walk. The area is safe, we had no problem ! The hostel has a guard by night.

I’ll definitely recommand staying at Hostel Rosas dos Ventos, it was a very nice and refreshing stay !

Quand la simplicité fait des miracles

We chose it basically for the price, 30 reais a night with breakfast included, and location, 5 minutes from the dockside.We were in a 4-bedroom with private bathroom, fairly limited space (it was difficult to open the suitcase).The breakfast was fine, everything very homey and good.

Very economical.

Very nice hostel located in the center of the Morro de Sao Paulo, it's simple, has many improving points, the breakfast is rare and little varied, the rooms are very small, the air conditioning is very noisy.

22 Year Old Traveller - 
The guy who works here is a legend …Right next door to the much spoken about “Che Lagarto Hostel” Its exactly the same experience for half the price. STAY HERE!
The rooms are better , you will meet just as many people , you go to Che Lagarto at night to chill anyway.. I really enjoyed my stay here and it was CHEAP :)

Location - The location is great ! Although its a small town so everything is pretty close 

Price/Value - 9/10 Great price considering its values..Its very basic but its all you need for this place :)

Breakfast - Great Breakfast : Eggs ,   Ham Cheese , Bread , Juices , Coffee.. 

Vibe - Relaxed vibe. Either in your room , at the beach at the bar , or chilling with other travellers at Che Lagarto…Wouldn’t say its a place to have beers. Just to sleep and move on 

Hospitality - Great staff , welcoming and friendy

Rooms - Good rooms! Nice beds , good air-conditioning , decent bathroom/shower 

WIFI - 8/10  Work very well throughout hostel

Shop 10 metres up toward town is epic! 15 reals for a massive burger and juice or 17 reals for a massive plate of chicken rice beans … Legends aswell (Paul Pogba)

It's a very nice and clean place. We are perfectly welcomed. Breakfast is homemade and is excellent and housewives are on top of the top! a good week's stay that I will not forget so soon! I also greatly enjoyed the location which is a little closer to local life than to the tourist bustle. + An unbeatable quality/price ratio on the island! I recommend you close your eyes.

Good location, breakfast ok (very good banana cream made by the hostel), good price, quiet hostel... staff unfriendly and always in a bad mood... little water in the shower... Its a good hostel for sleep!
